Adam Christopher Russell, age 50 of Gallipolis, died Wednesday September 23, 2026, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born March 26, 1976, in Gallipolis, he was the son of late John Russell and Anita Chryl Halley Russell.

He is survived by his mother, Anita Chryl Russell of Gallipolis, special friend, Melissa Francis of Ripley, son, Alexzander Gabriel Russell of Piketon, 2 brothers, Eric Russell of Gallipolis and Jeremiah Russell of Buffolo, sister, Jamie Russell of Rio Grande, and several extended family members.

In addition to his father he is preceded by a son, James Gabriel Russell.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to services.

Pallbearers will be: Dean Rossiter, Colton Holt, Jay McCormick, Coby Davis, Mike Stutes, Trent Holcomb, Eric Cochran, Richard Mullins and J.R.
