Allen Nolan, age 54, of Vinton, died Thursday January 23, 2025. Born September 21, 1970 in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late Larry and Texanne Richie Nolan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Finney.

Allen is survived by his wife, Amy Raynor Nolan, son, Lukas Reeder, daughter, Charissa Finney, grandchildren, Jazlyn, Jayce and Jayla Finney and Matthew Howes, brother Larry 'Matt' (Jennifer' Nolan, and niece, Alexis Nolan.

He was a long-time employee of Felmon Production and financial secretary for USWA local 5171. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge with family and friends by helping with various projects and repairs. He also enjoyed forging/iron work, traveling to the Smoky Mountains and he loved his fur babies.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Tuesday January 28, 2025 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be: Larry 'Matt' Nolan, Lukas Reeder, Donnie McCoy, Matthew Howes, Bobby Angel and Danny Angel.
