Andrew Jack Hutchinson, age 72, of Gallipolis, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning May 28, 2013 at the Arbors at Gallipolis. Born February 15, 1941 in Rush, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Ora L. and Gladys M. Hill Hutchinson. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded by two sisters, Almeda Sue Shriver, and Etta Jean Ross, by a brother, Lester 'Cotton' Hutchinson, by a half brother, Ed Hutchinson, and by a half sister, Libby Tackett.
Jack retired from the Gallipolis Vault Company after many years of service.
He is survived by two brothers, Ralph (Susie) Hutchinson of Gallipolis, and Ronnie (Patty) Hutchinson of Patriot, five sisters, Diana (Randy) Scott of Gallipolis, Lena (John) Miller of Gallipolis, Carol (Gary) Miller of Gallipolis, Louise Carroll of Kentucky, and Sharon (Bill) Porter of Pt. Pleasant. Also surviving is a half sister, Blanche Fuschi of California and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM. Thursday May 30, 2013 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM.
Jack's nephews will serve as pallbearers.
