Barbara Faye Langhorne, age 81, of Gallipolis died Saturday July 19, 2025 at Holzer Senior Care Center. Born July 7, 1944 in Gallipolis, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Joseph Stover and Esta Shaver Stover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her sister, Frances Caldwell; and by her brothers, Freddie Stover, George Stover and Charles Stover.

Barbara retired from the Gallipolis Christian Church after many years of being the administrative secretary. She was a member of the Gallipolis Christian Church, head of the Ladies Fellowship, secretary of Sunday school and she enjoyed working in the baby nursery. She also enjoyed collecting dolls.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 58 years, Douglas Langhorne whom she married on September 3, 1966; brother, Ralph Stover, a sister-in-law, Mary Stover and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Thursday July 24, 2025 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Denny Colburn and Russ Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM. – 1:00 PM.
