Betty Jo (BJ) Catalano, 87, Tampa, Florida, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday April 2, 2025. She was preceded by her grandparents, Leonard and Betty L. Byus, and her stepfather, Peter Hirth.

BJ graduated from Point Pleasant high school in 1955.

She is survived by her mother, Clara Ernestine Byus Hirth of Tampa, Florida. The family would like to give heartfelt appreciation to Genia and Kenny Williams and Mary Lynn Bechtle for their Godly love and help and to Nancy Blethen, BJ's friend of many years. We feel we have a church family in Pastor Justin Moran and his congregation, people who live the love God gave us with the gift of His Beloved Son.

A graveside service was held 1:00 PM on Tuesday April 7, 2025 at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
