Betty Jane MacDowell, age 94 of Patriot, Ohio was called home on Friday March 9 ^th 2018. She was born April 1 ^st 1923 in Cleveland Ohio to the late George and Lina Pikkarainen Hartley.

Betty enjoyed life; always big hearted, generous and full of laughs. She was loved by all that knew her.

She married the love of her life Bruce and they enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 26 years together.

Preceding her in death is her husband, Bruce, a stepson Dick MacDowell; her son Robert Kondik, her sister Myrtle Kumm, and three brothers, Charles, Jimmy and Bobby Hartley.

Left to cherish her memories is: her son, Bill (Shelly Ferko) Kondik, Daughters: Sue (Dave) Imes, Sally (Bob Gritt) Cornwell, and Deborah (David) Houghton.

Her Grand Children: Demetri Kondik, Nathan and Kelly Gantverg, Drew and Katie Tuttle, Heather Turnbull, Addy Turnbull, and Travis and Lindsay Houghton. Her Great Grandchildren: Kinsley, Kade, Kenadie, Kenton, Ella Emily, and Alexis.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
