Bobby Lee ‘Coach’ Price age 85 of Gallipolis, died Thursday September 24, 2026, at his residence. Born March 25, 1941, in Cuzzie, WV, he was the son of the late Willard and Minnie McClellan Price. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Peggy Jean Newell Price.

Bobby was a United States Army Veteran, serving 1960-1963. He worked and retired as a foreman from the Goodyear plant. He was a member of the Gallia County Coon Club and of the bowling league.

He is survived by his daughters, Diana (Laramie) Roush of Gallipolis, and Tina (Jared) Elliott of Gallipolis, 4 sisters, Velva (Robert) Langhorne of Gallipolis, Lynn (Wayne) Simmons of Jackson, Wyoming, Debbie Villani of Kingwood, Texas and Rose Johnson of Gallipolis, 4 grandchildren, Jade Roush, Laramie L. Roush, Alexandra (Travis) Elliott and Zachary (Chevy) Elliott, 6 great grandchildren, Aria, Luci, Lyliah, Travis Jr. ‘T.J.’, Dee Jay, Nova and was anticipating the arrival of Cruz. Also surviving are special friends, Tim and Karen Harper along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2026 in the Chapel of Hope at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens with Ron Thomas officiating. Military funeral honors will be presented by the VFW #4464 Honor Guard. Friends may call at the chapel on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
