Brenda Sue Wells, age 71 of Gallipolis died Thursday May 23, 2024 at Holzer Assisted Living in Jackson. Born January 13, 1953 in Gallipolis, she was the daughter of the late F.J. 'Jr.' and Opal Johnson Cremeens. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Lester Wells.

Brenda is survived by her son and daughter in law, Shane and Toni Wells, grandson, Tyler 'Ty' Wells, sisters, Kay Beaver, Betty Adkins and Connie Denney along with numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.

She will be remembered for her kind loving heart, warm smile and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her true joys came from watching Ty perform in the rodeo or on stage. She also greatly enjoyed hosting family and friends to share a meal which she so loving prepared and also enjoyed sewing.

A celebration of life memorial will be held on Sunday June 2, 2024 at Rio Ridge Venue 63 Indian Creek Dr. Rio Grande from 2:00 -6:00 PM.

A graveside service will also be at 1:00 PM.  Saturday June 8, 2024 at Ridgelawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Apple City Players, PO box 535, Jackson, Ohio 45640 in Brenda's memory.
