Brian David Bostic, age 76, of Patriot, passed away in peace with his family by his side on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Holzer Medical Center, after a battle with Mesothelioma. Born June 24, 1942, in Ironton, Ohio, he was the son of David and Kathleen Handley Bostic.

Brian retired from the Maintenance Department at the Bob Evans Sausage Plant after 30 plus years.

He is survived by his wife, Lawana Straight Bostic, and his three children, Tami (Mark) Null, Tina (Randy) Layton, and Tim (Melissa) Bostic and by his sister, Rosamary, (Robert) Amiet. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, and many other family and friends that held a special place in his heart.

The family would like to thank the Oncology Team at the Brain and Spine Center at OSU Hospital, the Holzer Medical Center and Hospice Team, and a special thanks to Dr. Marla Haller.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM. Wednesday October 3, 2018 at the Olive Cemetery with Todd Hines officiating.
