Cathy Jean Criner, age 77, of Gallipolis died Friday August 16, 2024 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on July 29, 1947 in Belgium, she was the daughter of the late Gustav Richard Swanson and Mabel Grace Young Swanson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her daughter, Lisa Baldwin, and an infant daughter.

Cathy was a homemaker and former truck driver and  loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her grandchildren; Jessica (Robert) Adams of Gallipolis, Amanda Criner of Georgia, and Nathaniel Baldwin of Georgia; and by her great grandchildren, Avyanna Adams, Greyson Criner-Holmes, and Declan Adams.

As per Cathy's wishes there will be no services. Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home is assisting the family.
