Christina F. Kirk, age 81, of Oak Hill, passed away Sunday July 10, 2016 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus. March 25, 1935 in Mason, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Sigler Burns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Raymond Kirk, a son, Charlie Boggess, grandson, Chris Carter, sister, Wilma Sayre, and brothers, Bud, Bob and Bill Burns.
Christina worked for many years as a cook at Holzer Medical Center and at Bob Evans restaurant.
She is survived by, three daughters, Faye (Alan) Carter of Oak Hill, Joyce (Richard) Pigman of Prospect, and Charlene (Tommy) Wong of New York, one son, Darrell Boggess and his girlfriend (Dianna Sargent) of Middleport, seven grandchildren, Mindy Bailey, Adam Boggess, Dusty Boggess, Amanda Smith, Tabatha Polcyn, Chase Wong, and Brooklyn Wong and thirteen great grandchildren and was awaiting the arrival of another great grandchild. Also surviving is six sisters, Mildred Daft of Gahanna, Thelma (Herb) Harrington of Bidwell, Clara Wolfe of Gallipolis, Linda Kinder of Gallipolis, Carol Burns of Pt. Pleasant, and Sue Chaney of Georgia, along with one brother, Jim Burns of Gallipolis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday July 14, 2016 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from Noon until time of service.
Pallbearers will be: Brody Bailey, Chase Wong, Adam Boggess, Dusty Boggess, JR. Smith, Jonathan Clark and Rick Burns.
