Clarence S. Church, age 66, of Gallipolis, died Wednesday April 4, 2012 at his residence. Born December 13, 1945 in Gallia County. He was the son of the late Kathern J. Flint shoemaker. In addition to his mother, he is preceded by his step- father, Carl John Shoemaker, and by his life partner, Pauline A. Hyman.
Clarence retired from the maintenance dept. at Holzer Medical Center.
He is survived by 2 Sons, Eugene Valentine of Bidwell, and David (Paula) Valentine of Gallipolis. 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. 2 Aunts, Molly Wright and Coleen Goldsberry both of Plain City.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Saturday April 7, 2012 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Bob Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM. Until the time of service.
