Clarice Plymale, age 80, of Gallipolis, died Monday morning May 7, 2012 at her residence. Born November 15, 1931 in Olcott, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Malcolm Harrison and the late Alma James Harrison Moore.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by a sister, Patricia Stinett, and by a brother, Ronnie Moore.
Clarice was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Garland 'Chic' Plymale who she married on April 14, 1951 in Kanauga. 2 Children, Richard Plymale and Shari (Rick) Van Gundy both of Gallipolis. 3 Grandchildren, Christopher (Jodi) Plymale of Liberty Township, OH, Charles Plymale of Bidwell, and Jade Van Gundy of Chandler, AZ. 3 Great Grandchildren, Nicholas and Megan Plymale of Liberty Township and Clay Plymale of Bidwell, and by 1 Sister, Joyce Smith of Conyers, GA.
The family would like to thank her caregiver, Mary Johnston, the owners and staff of Ohio Valley Home Health, Dr. Marazon and the staff of the Medical Plaza, and all the special friends, for all their love, support, and wonderful care that Clarice and the family received.
Funeral services will be 6:00 PM. Friday May 11, 2012 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Scott officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM. until the time of service. Entombment at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens will be at the convenience of the family.
