Clendon Lloyd Shoemaker, age 82, of Gallipolis, died Tuesday morning May 9, 2017 at Holzer Medical Center. Born January 7, 1935 in Gallia County, Ohio. He was the son of the late William Edward and Myrtie Wells Shoemaker.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his 3 sisters Hazel Sheets, Emogene Swain, and Kathleen Sirback and 1 brother Noble Shoemaker and 2 infant brothers.

He was a farmer and enjoyed playing the guitar and drawing.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. His best friend was Billy Myers.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am. Thursday May 11, 2017 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Warner officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior of the service.
