Clifford H. 'Cliff' Wood age 86, of Chillicothe, died Monday morning October 22, 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe. Born February 5, 1926 in Gallia County. He was the son of the late Clifford and Zella Vaught Wood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Neta Pool Wood, by a son, James P. Wood, a granddaughter, Paula Marie Wood, and by a daughter in law, Cindy Lee Wood.
Cliff was a retired truck driver and a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Logan Elm Masonic Lodge in Kingston, The Aladdin Temple Shrine and the Ross County Shrine Club.
Cliff is survived by, 2 sons, Howard (Eunice) Wood of Lakeland, FL., Eddie Wood of Cross City, FL., a daughter in law, Pamela Wood of Bidwell. Step children, Debby (Les) Barcus of Gallipolis, Dean (Judy) Holt of Columbus, and Susie McKabb of Columbus.

Grandchildren, Michael Wood, Jennifer Wood, Stephanie (Kevin) Latta, James , LeAnn McFadden, Lewis Wood, Lacy Wood and Dusty Wood.
Great grandchildren, Wyatt, Joey, Layla, Roxanne, Tabitha, Joshua, and Jeremiah, Aubra Marie Wood, Jersey Lee Gainey, Thomas J. Gainey, and Hunter Easton Wood.
Also survived by 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Friday October 26, 2012 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home in Gallipolis. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home in Chillicothe on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. with Masonic services being conducted at 8:00 PM. by Logan Elm Lodge. Friends may also call at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 PM.
Military Funeral Honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the Gallia County Veterans Funeral Detail.
