Connie Raye Jolley, age 80 of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday evening July 14, 2026 at Abbyshire Place. Born March 16, 1946 in Ceredo, WV she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred Dean. In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded by her husband, Dwayne F. Jolley, by a son, Kevin D. Jolley, and by several brothers and sisters.

Connie a member of the Church of Christ. She loved people as fierce as her personality was. She enjoyed singing, clogging and cooking for her family and friends. Her pride and joy were her three sons. She will long be remembered for her infectious smile and laugh.

Connie is survived by her sons, Kent D. (Cindy Denny) Jolley of Gallipolis and Kelly D. (Shanna) Jolley of Auburn, AL., 2 grandchildren, Eli L. and Sydney C. Jolley both of Auburn, AL. a brother, Jerry Dean of Gallipolis Ferry, WV and a sister, Linda Bonecutter of Gallipolis Ferry, WV.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Friday July 17, 2026 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Hood officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
