Dale Scott Chapman, age 55, of Canal Winchester, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday September 16, 2021 at Grant Hospital. Scott was born July 17, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio and is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy Chapman, and his mother, Jane Litchfield Chapman.  He was preceded by his father, Dale F. Chapman, grandparents; Otis and Katherine Chapman, and Olen and Helen Litchfield, and by his beloved dog "Smokie".

Scott was a 1984 graduate of Groveport Madison High School, where he excelled in basketball and baseball, and enjoyed coaching Little League.  He was dedicated employee for Royal Building Products where he had worked for 29 1/2 years, never missing a day.  He was a member of the Madison Christian Church and he loved Jesus. Scott was any & all sports enthusiast. His real passion was horses and watching them race.

Scott leaves behind his wife, his mother, dear family members, longtime friends, and caring co-workers.

Graveside service is Saturday, September 25, 2021 at noon in the Reynolds Cemetery, 210 Addison Pike, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631 with Pastor Paul Barnes officiating.

A Celebration of Scott's life will be on Friday, October 1, 2021 at noon at the Madison Christian Church, 3565 Bixby Road, Groveport, Ohio 43125.  In honor of Scott, please wear sports attire.
