Danny D. Mitchell, age 61 of Gallipolis, died Wednesday October 8, 2025 at the Ohio State University Medical Center, with his beloved son Nathan at his side. Born January 3, 1964 in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late John Edward Mitchell Sr. and Athea Howard who survives.                          Danny was a graduate of Gallia Academy High School and was employed at M&G Polymers Plant for many years.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Nathan (Megan) Mitchell of Cincinnati and other extended family members.

Graveside services will be 12:00 PM. Monday October 13, 2025 at Pine Street Cemetery with Christian Scott officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with Danny's funeral expenses.
