David Lewis Cain, age 70 of Mason, WV died Monday September 28, 2020 at his residence. Born April 29, 1950 in Columbus, he was the son of the late Lewis Walter and Sara Byers Cain. In addition to his parents he was preceded by a brother, Eddie Cain, and by 2 sisters, Verna Syrus and Susie Nelson.

David was a retired industrial painter and also formerly worked at French City Food Service.

He is survived by a brother, Butch Cain of Mason, a sister, Dorothy Gillenwater of Mason, by several nieces and nephews and 2 special great nieces, Ayah McGuire and Leotie Carter and a special great nephew, Kaleb Carter.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM. Friday October 2, 2020 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home in Gallipolis. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
