Diana Kay Swisher, age 68 of Gallipolis, "Went home to be with the Lord" on Wednesday afternoon July 10, 2024 at her residence.
Born December 28, 1955 in Gallipolis, she was the daughter of the late John Gilbert and Ruth Ann White Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her step father, Clifford Willett, daughter, Lori Smith, brothers, Tony, Bruce and Terry Johnson, sister, Vickie Long, and a great grandchild, Samantha Sanders.
Diana was a homemaker, member of Bell Chapel Church, Life member of the AMVETS and former State Seargent of Arms of the AMVETS.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul L. Swisher, sons, Steven (Ashley) Snider and Max Snider, daughters, Julie (Chase) Bowyer and Helen Hale, sister, Judy (Rhonda) Davis, brother, Johnny (Brenda) Johnson, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Funeral services will be at Noon Tuesday July 16, 2024 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers will be: Steven Snider, Max Snider, Michael Long, Rhonda Davis, Chase Bowyer and Ashley Snider.
