Dottie Berkley McCoy, 75, passed away peacefully into the arm of her precious Lord and Savior on August 5, 2018. Born on November 2, 1942 in Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late Donald E. Berkley and Nora E. Spears Berkley. In addition to her parents, she reunites with her father and mother-in-law Arthur and Mary Clonch McCoy, her beloved dog Baby, her brothers, Richard, Conrad and Johnny and infant sister Charla Rae.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years David S. McCoy, three daughters Susan Lynn (Dan) Kingery, Lorri Lee (Tim) Stalnaker, and Jill Kathleen (Michael) Putney. Grandchildren, Nicholas Jerod (Jourdan) Stalnaker, Mackinzie Brianna (Shane) Huffman, Baleigh Jordan Armstrong, Christopher Adam (Jessi Ison) McCoy. Great Grandchildren, Cannon Bradley Neville, Berkley Mae Huffman, Peyton Morgan McCoy and Elliott Edward McCoy. Siblings, Donald Berkley, Mary (Jim) Bradbury, Sandra Juniper, Virginia Lynn (Roger) Mayes, Roger (Kathy) Berkley, Sheila (Bob) Whaley, Phyllis (Rob) Carr. Along with a multitude of nieces and nephews and loving neighbors.
Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Saturday, August 11, 2018 at First Baptist Church 100 4 th Avenue Gallipolis, OH 45631 with Pastor Aaron Young officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Gideon's International or the Gallia or Mason County Animal Shelters in Dottie's memory.
Pallbearers are JD Bradbury, Michael Bradbury, Sammy Juniper, Zack Carr, Greg Mayes, and Donnie Mayes. Honorary Pallbearer is Mike Moore.
