Earl Eugene "Bub" Holley, age 79, of Crown City died Sunday November 1, 2026 at the Concord Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. He was born September 30, 1947 in Gallipolis to the late Melvin and Alta Moore Holley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Marjorie Sue McGuire Holley.

Bub was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was adored by everyone and was a unique person in the community. He enjoyed sending greeting cards out to people in the community, playing board games and horseshoes.

Bub is survived by his brother, Paul (Denise) Holley of Crown City; his sisters, June Bennett of Crown City, Pamela Callicoat of Proctorville, Patricia Holley of Crown City and Mary Holley of Crown City; nieces and nephews, Valerie Adams, Greg Callicoat, Amanda White, Geneva Harrington, Billy White, Cassandra Carr, Holley Toland, Andrew Cook, Autumn Johnson, Allie Cook and Christopher Holley, and by numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Monday November 9, 2026 at the Kings Chapel Church with Beau Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Kings Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Billy White, Travis White, Noah White, Zoe White, Andy Lewis and Sammy Johnson.
