Edward Dow Church, age 85, of Gallipolis, passed away Monday December 6, 2010 at Holzer Medical Center. Born January 15, 1925 in Gallia County, Ohio he was the son of the late William and Ethel Brumfield Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his Wife, Doris M. Waugh Church, Brother, Melvin Lee Church, 1 infant Brother, and by a special Niece Loreda Cummons.
Edward retired from the First National Bank in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is survived by 2 Sisters, Irene Church and Imogene Church and by 1 Brother in law, Vora (Yvonne) Waugh all of Gallipolis.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday December 9, 2010 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Garland Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
Pallbearers will be: Mark Cummons, Scott Cummons, Nathan Cummons, Kevin Riggs, Francis Waugh, and Bill Stapleton.
