Edward T. "Eddie" Cain, age 74, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday November 26, 2018 at Holzer Medical Center. Born October 3, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lewis Walter Cain and Sara Byers Cain. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his Wife; Vicky Lynn Green Cain and by 2 Sisters; Agusta Stephens and Sophia Nelson.

Eddie retired from Gallipolis Development Center after 33 years in the laundry department. He was a member of the Addison Freewill Baptist Church.

Eddie is survived by his Son; Jamie (Pam) Cain of Gallipolis; Daughter; Missy (Gary) Flint of Gallipolis; Brothers; David Lewis Cain and Butch Cain both of Mason, WV; Sisters; Susie Nelson of Marion, Ohio, Verna (Ron) Syrus of Florida, and Dorothy Gillenwater of Mason, WV; Grandchildren; James Spaulding and Sara Flint; and by several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Saturday December 1, 2018 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the East Bethel Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM. till time of the service.

Pallbearers will be: Jamie Cain, Gary Flint, Rick Greene, James Spaulding, Nick Larson, and Austin Burris.
