Elbert Glenn Graham passed in the early hours of January 13, 2019, at Riverside Hospital in        Columbus, Ohio. Glenn was born September 7, 1930, in the family farm house in the area formally known as Northup, Ohio.  He was the son of the late Ezra Elbert Graham and Grace Pearl Sheets.

Glenn was raised on the family farm where he worked and eventually took over operation. He graduated from Gallia Academy High School in 1948.  Just a few years later he spotted the girl who would become his life-long partner riding up the road in the back of her dad's "sawed off pick-up."  He married Jacqueline Rosealee Grubb three years later on May 18, 1952, in Asbury Church in           Northup, Ohio.  Glenn and Jackie had four children: Mary Lynne Graham, David (Cindy) Graham of Patriot, Patty (Steve) Smith of Gallipolis, and April (Tom) Swackhammer of Patriot.

In 1973, Glenn was in a tragic farming accident that took both of his legs. Despite this devastating turn of events, Glenn continued to farm with his son. However, Glenn knew his limited mobility made full-time farming difficult, so he became an adult education instructor at the Buckeye Hills Career Center.  He worked in the area of farm business planning analysis for over 40 years.  Through the years, the farm produced hogs, cattle, corn, soybeans, hay, peppers, and tobacco.

Glenn was an active member of the Patriot Masonic Lodge for over 60 years and a member of the Gallia County Farm Bureau for over 55 years. He was a 4-H advisor of the Triangle 4-H club for 60 years. The Graham Blessing farm partnered with The Tennessee Valley Authority Farming Co-operative for several years. He received the FFA Farmer of the Year Award.  It was also common to find Glenn at any local high school sporting event, choir concert, or community fundraiser.

Glenn was a long time and active member of Northup Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School and was involved in the leadership of that church.

Glenn is survived by three grandchildren, Jamie (Amy) Graham of Patriot, Cassie (Aaron) Walker of Patriot, and Joe (Beth) Graham of Patriot. He was also blessed with several great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.  Two sisters-in-law, Winona (Tom) Eskins and Gwendolyn Grubb Jones, are also living.

In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his daughters Mary Lynn Graham and Patty Ann Graham Smith, sisters and in-laws Hazel Graham (Lawrence) Carter and Bernice (Herman) Wood. Several other sisters and brothers in-law also preceded him in death.

Services for Glenn will be held at Waugh-Halley Wood Funeral Home in Gallipolis, Ohio, on              January 16, 2019, at 11am.  Friends and family may visit the family during calling hours on                   Tuesday, January 15, from 5 to 8 pm. Masonic services will be conducted at 8:00 PM Tuesday by Patriot Masonic Lodge.                                                                                                                                                      Pallbearers will be Jamie Graham, Joseph Graham, David Graham, Patrick Graham, Larry Grubb, and Aaron Walker.                                                                                                                                                              In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations to the Gallia County Junior Fair Relocation Fund.
