Eva Juanita Mooney, age 94, of Crown City, died Tuesday August 21, 2018 at the Arbors at Gallipolis. Born July 22, 1924 in Guyan Township, Gallia County. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Roma Elliott Starkey. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Earl Monroe Mooney, brothers, Calvin, Darrell, Milford and Kenneth Starkey and by a sister, Mildred Thompson.

She was a homemaker and farmer and a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Eva is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Friday August 24, 2018 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Truman Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Victory Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be: Virgil Wolford, Keith Bochard, Paul Montgomery, Frank Mooney Jr., Randy Thompson and Dalton Banks.
