Ferris Eeleen Gilman, age 97, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday morning November 30, 2010 at the Abbyshire Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (formerly Scenic Hills) in Bidwell. Born November 24, 1913 in Sac City, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Martha Temperance Geary Rogers. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her Husband, Clifford Gilman; 1 Son, Clifford Warren Gilman; 2 Brothers, Melvin and Thomas Rogers; and by 5 Sisters, Beatrice Curtis, Zeta Seger, Lila Harmon, Katherine McMahon, and Thelma Irene Rogers.
Mrs. Gilman, a resident of Gallipolis since 1973, was a charter member of the New Life Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her Daughters, Gwendolynn B. Carter of Gallipolis, Ohio, Dr. Regis M. Gilman (Stephen Hume) of Sylva , North Carolina, and Jacquelyn R. (Joe) Thiel of Crown Point, Indiana; Grandchildren, Mark (Mary Lisa) Carter, Anette (Chris) Brown, Micaela (Dan) Cuda, Andrew Glenn, Greg (Connie) Consier, Jeana (Matt) Deenik; Great Grandchildren, Carter Smith, Cody Carter, Chris (Lorie) Carter, Shelby and Dylan Brown, Dean Michael Cuda, Keira and Chloe Consier, and Sean Deenik; Great-Great Grandchildren, Alexis and Paige Carter; along with numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday December 4, 2010 at the New Life Lutheran Church with Pastor Scott Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
