Frances F. Sheets, age 83, of Gallipolis, died Saturday May 20, 2017 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. Born April 19, 1934 in Gallia County. She was the daughter of the late Frances and Clara Urwin Harrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, George Ralph Sheets, 6 brothers; Howard, Homer Clay, Russell "Kenny", Richard "Dick", and Irwin "Pete" Harrison, 3 sisters; Audrey, Alta Eleanor, and Mary Emma Harrison, and a daughter-in-law; Diane Sheets.

Frances is survived by her son, Monte Sheets of Leo, Indiana, daughter, Amber (Tim) Clary of Crown City, brother, William "Bill" (Sandra) Harrison of Toledo, Ohio, sister, Emogene (William) Mangold of Huber Heights, Ohio, 3 sister-in-law's, Ruth Harrison of Sebring, FL, Dorothy Harrison of Columbus, and Juanita Harrison of Bidwell, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Frances was a homemaker and attended Mercerville Baptist Church. She was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am. Friday May 26, 2017 at Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastors Dean Warner and Monte Sheets officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 pm.

Pallbearers will be: Zach Higgins, Andy Trulock, Chris McCoy, Connor McCoy, Thomas Cook and Bryce Clary.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Mercerville Baptist Church in Frances' memory.
