Gloria Diana Unroe, age 59, of Gallipolis, died Thursday evening November 3, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. Born August 2, 1952 in Gallia County. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Faye Nolan Lamm. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother, Keith 'Chopper' Lamm, and by a sister, Barbara Rossiter.
Diana was a caregiver and homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by 3 Children, Amanda Unroe of Gallipolis, Windel (Stephanie) Unroe of Crown City, and Dale (Lora) Finley of Crown City.
6 Grandchildren: Windel Unroe Jr. Daulton Unroe, Waylon Unroe, Wyatt Unroe, Randall Ashworth Jr. and Amanda Bailey.
2 Great Grandchildren: Kylee Bailey and Marley Ashworth.
6 Brothers: Merrill (Laura) Shriver of Bidwell, Dick (Rita) Shriver of Bidwell, Larry (Texanne) Nolan of Thurman, Garry (Judy) Lamm of Vinton, Freddie Lamm of Gallipolis and Ancel (Kim) Lamm of Gallipolis.
2 Sisters: Linda Waugh of Gallipolis, and Marsha Lamm of Gallipolis.
Nieces: Chessie Lamm, Cindy Nolan, and Kimmy Faye Wyatt.
2 Nephews: Dean Rossiter Jr.and Terry Lamm.
Also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Tuesday November 8, 2011 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-9 PM.
Pallbearers will be: Windel Unroe, Geno Johnson, Dirk Bartrum, Terry Lamm, Ancel Lamm, and Dean Rossiter Jr.
