Gracie "Louise" Warren, age 85, of Gallipolis, "Went Home to the Lord" on Monday February 21, 2011 at Holzer Medical Center. She was born on February 24, 1925 in Bonham, Texas to the late Grady and Essie Hilton Reaves. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her Husband, Garland Warren who preceded her on February 28, 1977; by an infant child, Patricia Long, and by a Brother, Bobby Reaves.
Louise was a 1943 graduate of Okolona High School in Okolona, Arkansas where she grew up before settling in Ohio.
She was an LPN and worked for Holzer Medical Center and Holzer Clinic. She also worked on the EMS and as a sitter.
She is survived by 5 children: James (Shelia) Long of Benton, Ark, Mike (Faye) Warren, Lois "June" (Mark) Clark, Janet (John) Gardner, and Gary (Dena) Warren all of Gallipolis; Grandchildren, Bryan Long, Eric (Cheryl) Long both of California, Adam (Melissa) Clark, Michael Warren, and Ramsey Warren all of Gallipolis; Great Grandchildren, Benjamin Long, Wyatt and Evan Warren, and Gracyn Clark; 2 Sisters, Jean (Penn) Price of Ark, and Virginia (Phil) Hoffmeyer of Arizona; and by 2 Sister-in-laws, Beverly Reaves of Ark, and Shirley Jones of Gallipolis.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday February 25, 2011 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Barcus officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday February 24, 2011 from 5 to 7 P.M.
