Gregory Lee 'Greg' Lane, age 62, of Gallipolis Went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday morning June 4, 2018 at his home. Born August 16, 1955 in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late Ivan Lee Lane and Betty Halley Lane who survives.

Greg was a retired employee of the Gallia County Highway Dept. He was a member of Elizabeth Chapel Church and the Ohio Valley Lodge #536 F&AM.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cheryl Sigler Lane, children, Elizabeth (Tony) Hughes and Brian (Mandy) Lane, grandchildren, Olivia Lane and Micah Hughes, sisters, Linda (Frank) Broderick, Scherry (Jimmy) Spears, and Cynthia Russell, brothers, Steven (Sheila) Lane, and Ivan 'Pedie' (Teresa) Lane, mother in law, Kathryn Sigler, sister in law, Kay Sigler and by several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

In addition to his father, he was preceded by a sister, Robin Lane.

Memorial services will be 6:00 PM. Friday June 8, 2018 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Masonic services will be conducted at 6:45 by Ohio Valley Lodge #536.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Greg's memory.
