Herman Ray Sparks, age 76 of Crown City, died Saturday October 3, 2020 at his residence. Born June 22, 1944 in Ironton, OH. He was the son of the late Sherman and Emma Wood Sparks. In addition to his parents he was preceded by an infant son, Herman Ray Sparks, By brothers and sister in laws, Oakley and Virgie Sparks and Standley and Barbara Sparks, sisters, Mary Pilfre and Betty Delaney,

He is survived by 5 children, Jessie James Ray Sparks, Rosie Patterson, Robin Cox, Eric Sparks and Edna Caykendall, a sister, Shirline Ingles, 2 brother in laws, Charlie Delaney and Jerry Pilfre, his long time companion, Lora Shadley and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

There are no services scheduled and Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home is assisting the family.
