James Edward Gooderham, age 63, of Crown City, passed away unexpectedly Friday April 29, 2022 at his residence. Born June 7, 1958 in Gallipolis, Ohio, he was the son of the late James O. Gooderham and Winona Jean Brumfield Gooderham.

James was employed by Electrocraft as a CNC operator for the past 44 years. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing guitar, woodworking, spending time in nature, listening to music, and watching classic cartoons. Some of his most memorable moments were the birth of his daughters and grandkids, seeing and holding them for the first time.

James is survived by his 2 Daughters; Crystal (Mark) Bostic and Tabatha (David) Lambert; and was a proud Papaw to 5 Grandkids; Aislynn, Quinton, Lydia, Bret, and Ethan. He was also survived by 3 Uncles; Frank Brumfield of Crown City, Forrest Brumfield of Robinson, TX, and Robert Brumfield of Crown City and several cousins.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Thursday May 5, 2022 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Garland Montgomery officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM. till time of service. Burial will be private at Ridgelawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: David Lambert, Mark Bostic, Aaron Harmon, Garland Montgomery, JJ Miller, and Jerry Pinkerman.
