James Fredrick Parsons, age 79, of Crown City died Tuesday April 13, 2021 at Arbors at Gallipolis. Born October 7, 1941 in Gallia County, he was the son of the late Leslie Parsons and Elizabeth Shriver Parsons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by 2 Brothers; Sherman Lawrence Parsons and Stanley 'Buddy' Parsons; and by 3 Sisters; Beatrice Parsons, Freda Blamer, and Joan Parsons.

He was a farmer and a member of Victory Baptist Church.

He is survived by 2 Brothers; Norman (Betty) Parsons of Crown City, and Melvin Parsons of Crown City; 2 Sisters; Doris Kusan of Galena and Hazel Woodworth of Galena; and by several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Friday April 16, 2021 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Unroe officiating. Burial will follow in the Crown City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM.-1:00 PM.
