James Robert 'Jay' Kinnison, age 39 of Gallipolis, died Friday morning January 10, 2020 at his residence. Born March 25, 1980 in Athens, Ohio he was the son of the late James Robert 'Bob' Kinnison Sr. and Debra Lynn Markin Burns who survives.
Jay was a truck driver and enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, doing mechanic work and race cars.
He is survived by his mother and step father, Debra Lynn 'Debbie' (JR) Burns of Bidwell, son, Deven (Cheyenne) Kinnison of Gallipolis, daughter, Paige Kinnison of Gallipolis, Stepson, Brian Knotts of Gallipolis, granddaughter, Nevaeh Kinnison, sisters, Bobbi Conley of Minford, Lori (Kenny) Adkins of Oak Hill, Kayla (Elijah) Ingles of Vinton and Jessica (Obadiah) McClanahan of Gallipolis, his children's mother, Hillary Bostic of Gallipolis and by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM. Friday January 17, 2020 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
Pallbearers will be: Kenny Adkins, Elijah Ingles, Deven Kinnison, Timothy Grimm, Obadiah McClanahan and Brian Knotts.
