Janet "Jan" Faye Boggs, age 72, of Gallipolis, died Saturday October 26, 2024 at Holzer Medical Center. Born May 25, 1952 in Gallipolis, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Phyllis Faye Chapman Boggs.

Janet was an office manager for AEP, retiring after 30 years of service. She then worked as a manager for numerous construction companies. She was loved by her family and friends, and they will miss her greatly.

Janet is survived by her wife, Valerie Porter of Gallipolis; brothers-in-law, Steve (Bridgett) Porter, Terry (Julie) Porter and Mike (Michelle) Porter; and by nieces and nephews, Stevie (Emily) Porter, Teshia (Kyle) Sines, Jonathan (Lilly) Porter, Damon (Sarah) Porter, Taylor Porter, Hunter Porter, Tara Porter and Allison Porter

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM. Thursday October 31,2024 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mound Hill Cemtery.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM. till time of service.
