Janice Faye Little, age 72, of Thurman, passed away on Monday evening July 29, 2013 at her residence. Born August 20, 1940 in Webbville, KY. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Edith Perkins Cotton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by 2 brothers, L.G. and Lee Cotton, and by a great grandson, Omar Dwayne Griffin.
Janice was a loving mother and a caring grandmother.
She is survived by, 2 sons, Sam (Tammy) Little of Rockport, IN. and Steven Little of Columbus, a daughter, Sandra (Lacey) Wolford of Thurman, a sister, Joyce Alexander of Virginia and a brother, Gary Cotton of Columbus. 5 grandchildren, Amanda Little of Thurman, Joseph (Rose) Peck of Thurman, Kelli (Jason) Claytor of Jackson, Jenna (Allen) Arnold of Indiana, and Maggie Little of Indiana. 6 great grandchildren, Tieasha, Brian and Terrance Williams of Thurman, Maddy and Miles Peck of Thurman, and Anna Grace of Indiana, and 1 great great grandson, Omarion Hoskins of Thurman. Also surviving is several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Thursday August 1, 2013 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Bob Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM. until the time of service.
