Jewell Frances Halley, age 82, of Bidwell, passed away Wednesday May 9, 2018 at her residence. Born September 1, 1935 in Lesage, WV, she was the daughter of the late James Waugh and Elizabeth Northup Waugh. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her Husband; Larry Halley; 2 Brothers; Dana Waugh and Tom Waugh; and by 4 Sisters; Alma Clark, Dorothy Clark, Mary Wray, and Juanita Craig.

Jewell was one amazing woman. She touched so many lives and loved her family. She retired from the Gallipolis Develpmental Center and was a member of the Good News Baptist Church.

She is survived by her Children: Ricky (Lori) Joy, Lea (Andy) Hout, James (Linda) Thevenir, Charles Thevenir, and Anita Hoffman; Grandchildren; Jeremy (Julie) Hout, Angie (Anthony) Lemley, Derek (Pandora) Hoffman, Jamie Thevenir, Rocky Thevenir, Melanie (Mike) Hoffman, Brittany Kruskamp, and Dusty Thevenir; Great Grandchildren; Layton, Braxton, Ethan, Izzy, Allie, Elizabeth, Nathan, Karder, and Taylah; and by Brother; Harold Waugh.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am. Friday May 11, 2018 at The Chapel of Hope at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens with Pastor Eric Fannin officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
