Joann Brumfield, age 76, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday August 11, 2013 at Holzer Medical Center. Born July 31, 1937 in Gallipolis. She was the daughter of the late Homer and Margaret Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Clyne Brumfield, by 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and 2 grandchildren.
Joann is survived by 3 daughters, Connie (Eugene) Burd, Tammy (Leonard) Mollohan, and Cindy (J.P.) Jones, 1 son, Thomas Brumfield all of Gallipolis. 1 sister, Regina Adkins of Gallipolis, 7 grandchildren, Christopher Burd, Jason Walter, Ryan Walter, Nathan Mollohan, Jillian Howard, Stephanie Bevans, and Holly Brumfield, and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Wednesday August 14, 2013 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral Home with Pastors Thom Mollohan and Truman Johnson officiating. Burial in follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM. until the time of service.
Joann's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
