Judy Williams, age 75, of Gallipolis died Tuesday September 17, 2024 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on December 16, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Bud and Betty Coughenour and John and Betty Meredith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, John Franklin Williams, a son, Stephen Williams and by a daughter, Joyce Williams.
Judy enjoyed attending all of the grandchildren's activities and having family dinners. She loved her dog Roofus, her bird Crackers, and her cat, Callie girl. She also enjoyed Nascar and playing bingo.
She is survived by her children, Jessica Williams of Gallipolis, Michele (Ronnie) O'Dell of Gallipolis, Craig Williams of Gallipolis and John Michael (Tiffany) Williams of Leon; grandchildren, LaRae (John Dickie)  O'Dell, Anthony (Courtney) O'Dell, Briana (Gary) Mitchell, Colton Williams, Nicole Williams and Leighanna Williams; great grandchildren, Jamie VanHoose, Logan Grube, CayLee O'Dell and Gunner O'Dell all of Gallipolis, Braiden Mitchell, Paisleigh Mitchell and Gabriella Mitchell all of Bidwell; a brother, John 'Butch' (Cheryl) Meredith of Milton, PA. and by a sister, Janet (Bret) Johnson of Milton, PA.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM. Sunday September 22, 2024 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Chapman officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from Noon till time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to be made to the Gallipolis Lions Club, PO Box 436 Gallipolis, Ohio 45631 in Judy's memory.
