The Lord reached down and took home a loved one La Ron D. Garnes, age 36, of Gallipolis. Born July 5, 1982 in Gallipolis, Ohio, he was the son of John F. Garnes and Gloria Holmes Williams. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents; Stewart Holmes and Delbert and Virginia Garnes.

La Ron enjoyed living life. He published a book "Tales" of Reality" and was working on a music career. He was a member of the Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. La Ron was proud of and loved his children dearly.

Leaving to mourn La Ron are his Son; LaRon Darryn Garnes of Gallipolis; Daughter; Lyvia Garnes of Gallipolis; Mother of his Children; Shari Hill of Bidwell; Mother; Gloria (James) Williams of Gallipolis; Father; John (Kathy) Garnes of Bidwell; Sisters; LaKisha A. Williams of Gallipolis; Melissa White-Garnes of Dayton; Grandmother; Loretta Holmes Stewart of Centerpoint, Ohio. He is also survived by many more family members and friends that loved him dearly, but God needed him more.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM. Sunday December 2, 2018 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Calvin Minnis officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Missionary Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 PM. till time of service.
