Larry Joe Gillenwater, age 58, of Crown City, passed away Friday evening November 20, 2015. Born May 24, 1957 in Gallia County. He was the son of the Donald Gillenwater and the late Alice M. Brumfield Gillenwater. In addition to his mother, he is preceded by his wife, Elizabeth Pearl Gillenwater, and by a brother, Garold Lee Gillenwater.
Larry is survived by his father, Donald E. Gillenwater of Crown City, a son, Larry Joe Gillenwater Jr. of Crown City, three grandchildren, Kelsey, Kobie, and Kayden Gillenwater all of Jackson., one sister, Rita (Tony) Craig of Orient, OH., three brothers, Kenneth Gillenwater, Ronald (Jackie) Gillenwater, and David (Sandy) Gillenwater all of Crown City. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Noon Tuesday November 24, 2015 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be: Tony Craig, Eric Gillenwater, Brad Gillenwater, Kenny Gillenwater, David Gillenwater, and Kelly Savage.
