Larry Nolan, age 79 of Thurman, died Thursday January 23, 2025. Born February 10, 1945 in the family home in Gallipolis. He is preceded in death by his wife, Texanne Richie Nolan, son, Allen Nolan, brothers, Keith "Chopper' Lamm, Merrill Shriver, Garry Lamm and Jimmy Shriver, sisters, Barb Rossiter, Gloria Diana Unroe, Linda Waugh and Marsha Lamm and by a grandson, Matthew Finney.

Larry is survived by a son, Larry 'Matt' (Jennifer) Nolan, granddaughters, Alexis Nolan and Charissa Finney, grandson, Lukas Reeder, daughter in law, Amy Nolan, brothers, Dick (Rita) Shriver and Ancel Lamm along with many nieces and nephews.

Larry loved his family and friends. He enjoyed pony pulls, racing and spending time at auctions.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Tuesday January 28, 2025 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be: Matt Nolan, Timmy Evans, Jonny Evans, Kenny Nolan, Frank Cline and Jimmy Klaiber.
