Larry Steward 79 of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones August  28, after battling cancer for several years.

Larry was born June 24, 1945 to Viola (Chance) Steward and Charles Steward of Polk, Ohio.  Larry graduated from Mapleton H.S. in 1963 and started working at Hyco. Larry then moved his career path in sales. Throughout his career, Larry took Business class to excel and better himself in the business.

In 2014 Larry retired from Sales. Enjoying retirement Larry's hobbies were traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents and sister Dotty Irwin.  Larry leaves behind: Daughters, Elizabeth (Beth) Steward Jackenheimer, Ashland, Ohio, Dana Steward Stapleton & Allan Gallipolis, Ohio and Krissy Steward Garber & RJ, Rio Grande, Ohio. Two Step sons, James Thornburg, Mansfield, Ohio and Brian Reed & Bettie, Ashland, Ohio. Two sisters Penny Stinson, Houston, Texas and Donna Werner, Columbia, Mississippi. Grandchildren Richard Troy Johnson & Brandi, Kaden Johnson, Jay Johnson, and Hollee Castor, Trevor Stapleton, and  Keghan Stapleton. Great-Grand children Josphine and Ezekial Johnson and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Larry's life.  Larry's remains will be returning and buried in Ashland, Ohio.
