Lester O'Dell 'Odie' Williams Jr. age 52 of Crown City, died Friday August 5, 2016 at his residence. Born May 18, 1964 in Columbus, he was the son of the late Keitha Neville Williams and Lester O'Dell Williams Sr. who survives. In addition to his mother, he was preceded by a step son, Scott Barry.
Odie was a 1982 graduate of Hannan Trace High School, and worked for many years as a construction worker. He was a loving father, grandfather, and will be missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his father, Lester O'Dell (Jewell) Williams Sr., his wife, Patricia Barry Williams, three children, Nathan Williams, Brian (Becca) Williams and Ashley (Matt) Shinkle, three grandchildren, Skylar, Kynslee,, and Colton Williams, and two sisters, Shonda (Jerry) Hicks, and Danita (Jeff) Pinkerman, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Memorial services will be 7:00 PM. Friday August 12, 2016 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Neal officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM. until the time of service.
