Linda Sue Coughenour, age 67, of Gallipolis went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday afternoon March 13, 2025 at Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly. She was born in Pt. Pleasant on October 13, 1957 to the late Paul T. Montgomery Sr. and Patty Lambert Montgomery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by 2 infant brothers, Bruce and Johnny Montgomery and by a brother-in-law, Anthony Montano.

Linda was a member of the Promised Land Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed going to church.  She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She also was an avid Bingo player. Linda will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Keith Coughenour; son, Bobby (Laura) Montgomery; grandchildren, Jessica Kovalik, Josh Kovalik, and Erica Kovalik; 1 great grandchild, Alaina; brother, Paul (Sue) Montgomery; sisters, Betty Adams, Patricia Montgomery, Frances Montano, Phyllis Montgomery, Peggy (Gene) Wood and Cathy (Dwayne Evans) Montgomery; and by several nieces and nephews. Linda also leaves behind her 2 loving dogs, Sadie and Tiny, that she truly loved and cherished.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM. Tuesday March 18, 2025 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Truman Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 AM. till 1:00 PM.
