Linda Rita Maria Wolf Waugh, age 68, of Hamden, 'Went to be with the Lord' Tuesday evening March 24, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Born August 5, 1946 in Fayetteville, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Skalley Wolf. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded by a brother, Ronald Wolf, a great granddaughter, Cherish Elizabeth Northup, and by her Wolf and Skalley grandparents.
Linda worked for many years at the Celina Manor Nursing Facility in Celina. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and attended the Jackson Baptist Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Lee Waugh Jr. who she married on April 21, 1973, 1 son, Charles L. (Lynn) Waugh, 4 daughters, Clara (Jerry) Northup, Erma Jean (Ray) Timmerman, Maria Ann (Elmer) Gann, and Tammy Sue Waugh. 11 grandchildren, Jennifer (Ryan) Richards, Taylor Brunswick, Brittany Brunswick, Windfield Lee Waugh, Grace Gann, Brianna Gann, Aerianna Gann, Nick Gann, C.J. Northup, Justin (Josie) Northup, and Jessica (Corry) Willis. Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Sunday March 29, 2015 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Gibson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-9 PM.
