Mario Bercari, age 88, of Gallipolis, Ohio, died Thursday evening March 31, 2022 at Holzer Medical Center. Born May 13, 1933 in Valdarsa, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe Bercari and Francesca Stenta Bercari. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Sylvia Sgagliardic Bercari on the same day, 14 years apart.

Mario was a kind, generous, and a fun-loving man. He had a great love of family and friends.

Mario is survived by his daughter, Lillian Sayre, married to Jeffrey Sayre, of Bidwell, Ohio; Grandchild, Ephraim Mark Ingram of Costa Rica. He is also survived by a large beloved family.

At his request, no services are being scheduled and burial will be at a later date in the Cemetery of the Resurrection in Staten Island, New York.
