Mary Beth Coleman went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ March 6, 2022 at OSU Wexner hospital after battling an extended illness.  Mary Beth was born on April 19, 1951 in Gallia County, Ohio.  Her parents were the late Alfred Schuldt and Ruth Anna Mossbarger. Her grandparents were the late Cecil and Effie Mossbarger.  In addition to her parents and grandparents, Mary Beth was preceded in death by a sister Sue Ellen (Ray) Biland.

Mary Beth graduated from Southwestern High School in 1969.  She worked at the Gallia County Courthouse in probate court where she had worked for over 40 years. She was a member of the Northup Baptist Church. She was very passionate about church, family, and the Gospel.  Mary Beth was an avid Elvis enthusiast.  She also enjoyed fireworks and Christmas lights, driving through the city park as often as she could at Christmas time.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years Ralph Coleman.  1 son, Todd (Amanda) Coleman.  1 Sister, Patsy Schuldt.  1 brother, Rick (Lorene) Schuldt.  1 beloved granddaughter Aliyah Coleman.  She is also survived by work and church family.

Friends may call at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home on Thursday March 10, 2022 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Graveside services will follow in Centenary Cemetery with Pastor Jim Chapman officiating.
