Mary Margaret Swain, age 73, of Chillicothe died Monday May 12, 2025 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Chillicothe. Born October 23, 1951 in Lowell, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Margaret Ann Espinoza Brick.

Mary was a United States Army Veteran and a homemaker. She went back to school and received a degree in criminology.

She is survived by her husband; Ricky Allen Swain of Chillicothe, son; Roger (Lynn) Houck of Springfield, daughter; Mary K. Houck of Gallipolis, granddaughter; Madison N. Houck, grandson; Ethan C. Houck, sister; Kathleen Brick Burgess and by her brothers; Michael J. Brick, Thomas A. Brick and John T. Brick.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM. Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM. till time of service.

Full Military Funeral Honors will be presented at the cemetery by the VFW #4464 Honor Guard.
